Weakness and Personality:Having become a half-human, half-ghost teenage superhero with ghost powers, has significantly altered Danny's life though he is still susceptible to basic flaws of character. Danny Fenton is a nervous, clumsy, and sometimes superficial 14-year-old boy who tries to fit in with his peers, even with him being as unique as he is; as revealed in Frightmare, Danny dreams of the social acceptance of his superhuman status. Danny has every reason to feel as paranoid as he does about keeping his ghost half a secret whenever possible. However, his paranoia has yet to do a thing about his curiosity, which was the catalyst for the event that gave him his ghost-powers to begin with. From the items found in his bedroom, we can find that Danny likes basketball, skateboards, and builds model rockets. Danny wants to become an astronaut. In the nickelodeon magazine Danny Phantom comic "Seeing Red", is shows that Danny hates the commercialism of Valentine's Day. When his friends and family are in danger, Danny can become rather stubborn and overprotective and is often prone to see a more straightforward black-and-white side of things. He is also often too emotional, which can be used as a disadvantage or put to great use.
Danny has since developed a more confident and mature attitude over the course of the series as he continues to develop his powers, but it is ultimately his loyalty to his causes that helps him to overcome all obstacles. Even when he is vilified by the public early in his career, his sense of civic duty is so strong that he felt retirement was out of the question. It can also be noted that throughout the show, Danny's appearance becomes noticeably more muscular in tone, compared to the earlier episodes of season 1.
It is shown that although he is only half-ghost, Danny is still badly affected by ecto-weapons. He has also more than once overestimated his abilities or at times is often too naive or cocky, which usually results in a tactical disadvantage during battle (which, earlier in the show, usually lead to Danny reverting to human form rather easily). When Danny becomes depressed, disheartened, distracted, low on energy, de-powered, unfocused or unprepared, then his confidence and self-esteem as well as his performance as a ghost hunter affects his ghost powers.

History:Having always lived with his eccentric ghost-obsessed scientist parents, 14-year old Danny Fenton had to put up with their unique personalities that often traumatized him as well as constantly being forced to listen to them ramble or instruct their children on how their numerous Fenton gadgets worked. However, this did nothing to stop Danny's curiosity that one day changed his life forever. His parents had been working on their new invention, the "Fenton Portal" which they could not get to work. It was supposed to open a gateway into the realm of ghosts (which they later refer to as "The Ghost Zone"). Danny, in addition to his two friends (Sam and Tucker) were curious about it, and they wonder what it would be like inside of it while in his parents' laboratory. Danny soon finds himself venturing inside of it due to their prodding and his own curiosity. However, he accidentally ends up turning it on from the inside, and, standing in the same space that the portal was opened in, Danny was caught in the opening portal, resulting in his entire molecular structure to be infused with ectoplasm from the ghostly realm.
As a result, Danny Fenton becomes a half-human/half-ghost hybrid able to shift from human to ghost and back at will, though it originally takes a little practice. He decides to keep his new 'hybrid' status a secret from everyone else, especially his family, due to their hatred of ghosts and desire to destroy and dissect them. In addition to his accident, the portal can now not be turned off, and an array of malevolent ghosts often escape through it into their town, (though it should be noted that many others don't need a portal to appear there either). Either way, his town of Amity Park is soon the "most haunted town in America." He takes it upon himself to catch these evil ghosts/spirits/beings, etc. and send them back from where they came from.
He decides to call his alter-ego "Danny Phantom," who is an extraordinary spectral superhero with a ghostly array of other-worldly powers; and over the course of the series, Danny develops a number of various supernatural/paranormal/metaphysical/extraordinary abilities.

"DASH!" Danny yelled and dash just shruged his sholders. "What it wasnt me" Dash said in his defense suddenly his ghost sence went off and he sighed "great just what i needed" Sam than took his bag and danny looked at her confused. "go deal with him i,l meet you back at your place" she said with a smiled Danny Smiled "Hey Mr.Lancer Look a bird!" Dash yelled "were stop!" Lancer yelled as Danny got out of the room "IM GOING GHOST!" Danny yelled as he transformed into danny phantom and flew out the school and found outside was the box ghost. "dued i so dont have time for you what are you doing here?" Danny asked anyoed. "Beware i am the box ghost!" He yelled "Behare i am the box ghost" danny said in an imitating tone "i so dont have time for this" Danny charged in and lanched a excto plasmic beam at the box gohst knocking it off the tree "ow that hurt!"
