Taking place during X-2 and taking our history only from the first movie. . .
An attack on the President. Anti Mutant sentiment is rising. A man named Stryker has just been given the go ahead for plans he has had in the works for years. Jean and Storm have been sent to find the mutant responsible for the attack while Scott has escorted the Professor to visit Magneto in prison.
Things do not go as planned. Scott and the Professor are captured and their minds under control of a powerful mutant hater, with a plan. Magneto is finally able to escape thanks to Mystique and they actually end up saving Jean, Storm, and their passenger from the Air Force's attempt to shoot them down. Logan has been left in charge of the school, but things are quiet there. At least so far.
This is where we start from, and take the X-Men into our own hands, writing their adventures and lives ourselves. A literate and mature board with no post count.
