In the Marvel Universe after Impossible Man's short invasion in New York City the world's famous Fantastic Four defeated him, attempting to make his escape Impossible Man make a portal to enter another dimension, and does so by leaping into the portal. At the same time in the DC Universe Superman is seen stopping Darkseid's Apokoliptian invasion by blasting the Apokoliptian with his heat vision as Darkseid tries to enter a Boom tube. These acts do not destroy either of them, but merges the Marvel and DC Universe together. However these universe are not meant to be one so attempting to fix the situation the universe some how makes the two worlds into one big world. Because of this the Earth grew more and is much more populated. New York is still New York but now a island with a building shaped like a ''T'' is just there, Metropolis is still Metropolis it's now only a long bridge away from New York, Africa is still Africa but now Wakanda is there.
Norman Osborn (Iron Patriot) however didn't like this idea one bit. There were more heroes on Earth, and it wasn't going to fly. While the heroes were continuing doing what they do best, while also trying to figure out how the Earth ended up like this Norman and Lex Luthor had a secret meeting where they decided to form a alliance called the ''Cabal of Villains'' and everyday this alliance grew bigger and bigger as well as stronger. The first Cabal of Villains attack was in a Bank in Manhattan, the members consisted of: Mr. Hyde, The Hood, Bane, and Killer Frost the only hero that was in the area was Iron Fist, who is now hospitalized. When a second attack occurred this time the New Avengers, the Mighty Avengers and the Justice League were there to stop them. One of the members managed to get the villains to talk and now the heroes were aware of this alliance.
Judging how big the alliance of the Cabal of Villains were both the JLA, MA, and NA needed to side together. And that's what they did. But is it too late? Can they stop this Cabal? or will the villains take out the heroes? with Norman Osborn now in the position Tony Stark was in. It doesn't look good for the heroes.
